I am very excited to be the new Assistant Principal at Ashford Park Elementary School! My educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan University, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Walden University, and both a Specialist's and Doctoral degree in Curriculum, Assessment, and Instruction from Walden University. My research focused on instructional strategies for critical thinking. I have fourteen years of experience in school districts in Ohio, Michigan, Texas, and Georgia. 

My philosophy of education is that students learn best when given a warm, engaging, and appropriately challenging environment. In my experience, school stakeholders who collaborate effectively are a powerful force where everyone benefits, most importantly the students. I believe that teaching your child is a huge responsibility and I will work hard to give them exactly what he or she needs to reach their highest potential. 

In my leisure, I enjoy tennis, hiking, reading. I look forward to an incredible year at Ashford Park Elementary School!
