2023-24 ASAP

The ASAP Lottery Registration Form 
is now LIVE. 
Please see the link below to 
complete the application for your family. Only one application should 
be completed per family.

Reminder: This is ASAP Lottery #2. 
It will include for NEW families to Ashford Park and those that were waitlisted in our first lottery drawing. 
If you were waitlisted in ASAP Lottery #1, you should NOT complete this registration link. 
Your family will automatically be included in Lottery #2.

The timeline for ASAP Lottery #2 is as follows:
May 30th - ASAP Lottery registration opens - you must be fully registered for Ashford Park SY 23-24 to be eligible.
July 7th (closes at 5:00pm)- ASAP Lottery registration closes
July 11th: ASAP Lottery drawing #2
July 14th: ASAP Lottery results sent to parents
July 24-27th: Window for Parents to accept their lottery seat by paying $25/kid for ASAP registration fee- if fee is not paid by July 27th, your family's spot will go to the next person on the waitlist

Ashford Park became a certified STEM school in March 2017.

Our STEM Vision is to serve as a collaborative STEM learning community that challenges and engages all students across the curriculum as well as encouraging 21st century skills and STEM careers.

Our STEM mission is to provide challenging, relevant, authentic, and inquiry based STEM experiences for our diverse learners. All stakeholders including community business partners will collaborate to ask questions and define problems, plan and carry out investigations, construct scientific frameworks, and use critical thinking.

Mission & Vision

The vision of the DeKalb County School District is to inspire our community of learners to achieve educational excellence. Our mission is to ensure student success, leading to higher education, work, and life-long learning. We are making this vision and mission a reality – every day, in every classroom throughout the District.

Through community forums, focus groups, listening sessions, and more, we have engaged our stakeholders, refined our objectives, honed our procedures, and formulated a robust, highly-structured yet agile and adaptive strategic plan. We are pleased with the progress we have made thus far, and excited about the future – of our District, our community, and, most importantly, the 100,000+ students who daily bring to us their limitless potential.

The District has created performance measures, targets, and initiatives to ensure success in each goal area. A monitoring and data collection process has been developed, and rigorous progress check procedures have been implemented. At the local level, on-going training sessions are offered to all principals in order to support the work of aligning, refining, monitoring, and evaluating the continuous improvement efforts of each individual school.

As a community of learners, we are committed to excellence in everything we do – within the classroom and throughout the District. This continuous improvement process permeates each aspect of our Strategic Plan, and we are honored to partner with you to make it a reality for all.
